I don't yet have an sh-hitachi-hms runtime library on this system.

In the past, I had been specifying --with-newlib and --with-includes=xxx in the
configuration process, but I didn't realize that this wasn't optional... :^)

I'll give that a whirl, and see what's next (I don't have access to the machine
at the moment).
