Question: Gross compiler on Cygnus

Since gcc is a cross-compiler and Cygnus has ported the gnu to Windows NT, I want to use WinNT+Cygnus-win32 as cross-development platform. Firstly, I need to build the gcc-2.8.1, gas-2.9.1 and gdb in this platform. I have tried to build the gcc-2.8.1, but it is not successful. Has anyone built the gcc-2.8.1 successfully at Cygnus-win32? If yes, could you let me know how you build it, for example, what is the target you specify? Has anyone built the gcc using ARM as the target?
