68k format

Hi,

Last weekend I built a 68k-coff cross environment with binutils-2.7,
, gcc-2.7.2.1 and newlib-1.7.1 on a pentium pro running linux2.0.
(I failed building it with binutils 2-8.1 :( ). 

Though coff is ok, I'd prefer ELF. Has anyone build m68k-elf or maybe
there isn't one yet cause gcc configure didn't know of such an option
(binutils 2.8.1 did)?
