Upcoming 2.47 branch and release dates

Hi Guys,

  The time for the 2.47 release is coming up fast.  My current plans
  are:

    Create the branch:   Sat 11 July
    Create the release:  Sat 25 July

  So now is the time to get any important fixes or features in...

  The dates are adjustable, if necessary, but I would prefer to stick to
  the timetable if I can.
