2.46 Branch Creation Approaching

Hi Guys,

  We are approaching the time for the next GNU Binutils release.
  
  The plan is to create the 2.46 branch on Saturday 17th Jan and
  then create the release on Saturday 31st Jan.  So if you have
  any new features or important fixes that you want to get into
  the next release now is the time to submit them and/or press
  for a review.
