Now I feel bad.  I followed my own advice and added --enable-gprofng=yes to
PKGBUILD and ran
makepkg-mingw and still gprofng did not build.  Looking over the logs when
running "makepkg-mingw -L"
I saw no warnings/errors that gprofng wouldn't build.  I suppose a thing
you could do is file an issue on
the MSYS-package repo.
