Apologies for the messup in the previous thread "[PATCH 0/4] libsframe:

I had some stale patches in my local folder.  Resending the patchset
with a "RESEND" tag.

This patchset makes some minor cleanups to libsframe code, before moving
forward with V3 patches.  Details in the commit log of each patch.
