Solaris testing found two showstopper issues so far:

	PR gas/32579
        [2.44 regression] Support for x86 Sun cmov syntax is incomplete

Jan already provided a patch which I'm currently testing:

The other is

	PR ld/32580
        [2.44 regression] Non-bash shell breaks many default linker scripts

caused by one of your patches which I'm still investigating.
