It certainly isn't, and hence the patch here. The wrong treatment of such
sections simply extended father than my original patch (that caused the
perceived regression, when really it merely uncovered pre-existing badness
elsewhere) took into account. Hence the patch here.
And with respect to you rushing patches into the tree (with, as was
meanwhile also clarified by others, in this case some incorrect
understanding of gABI) I meanwhile feel like a broken record: Can you
please allow some time between posting and committing? It's for a reason
that I didn't commit my patch so far. And I do this irrespective of being
a global maintainer, so I think I can you waiting some as well. Yes, you
had Alan's approval. Yet then I had a day of time off yesterday and thus
weren't able to comment.
You now caused to do me extra work, by needing to rebase my patch over
yours, since you didn't really fix the underlying issue, but just as sub-
case thereof. I consider this unacceptable.
