 I am actually very unhappy with the state of the VAX target in this 
respect, which I do care about from the GCC side.  But that's a technical 
debt accumulated over decades, which requires considerable effort to pay 
back, which would have been much easier to handle if it had been spread 
across all those years.

 I've been meaning at least to add a list of all the assembly instructions 
and then some coverage for the rich set of addressing modes, but there's 
always been something more urgent to do.  Cc-ing the active VAX maintainer 
in case he feels compelled to do some of this work.
