2.42 Release Schedule

Hi Guys,

   With the holiday season fast approaching, I thought it
   worth giving more advance notice of the impending 2.42
   release than usual.  So currently I am planning on these
   dates:

     Create 2.42 Branch:  Monday Jan 15th 2024
     Create 2.42 Release: Monday Jan 29th 2024

   This time around I am going to be assisted by Jose
   Marchesi who has foolishly, ahem, I mean generously
   volunteered to help me with the process.
