Well, the shorter options do exist in the sense that the longer ones
can be abbreviated.  Documenting the abbreviations would function as
a contract that no options will be added that conflict with the
shorter form.  (But -mb and -ml, while also working, are not
documented, so e.g. -mlong-double could be added without problem.)
If you do not agree, I'll remove the documentation of the
abbreviations.

PPC also documents both -mlittle and -mlittle-endian, although the
option parsing is implemented differently there.
