Some friendly advice, though very direct: before you post what
seems the same set yet another time, *please* fix the
formatting: no "if(x)" (missing space after "if"), no "if (x )"
(extraneous space before closing-parenthesis) both seen in your
first post, and no vertical-alignment spacing, as seen in
po-bfd.h.  TL;DR: consult other code in binutils.  (Maybe you
did, but "chose poorly".)
