In my example there is a file "f.c":

#include "f.h"

#include <stdio.h>

func f(void)
{
     puts(__PRETTY_FUNCTION__);
     return g;
}

There is also a "g.c":

#include "f.h"

#include <stdio.h>

void g(void)
{
     puts(__PRETTY_FUNCTION__);
}
