buffer overrun in verilog bfd backend

Hi.

I have opened a bug report: 
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=17995.
It includes a patch.

I'm not sure how to contribute this, so I hope that asking here if 
someone can commit this is the right way? :)
