avr-size

Hi, I downloaded the latest binutils source
binutils-2.24.tar.gz                02-Dec-2013 05:10   29M
and built it for the avr architecture but the avr-size utility does
not recognise the options -C and --mcu. I found a fix at
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15038 however when I
looked at the source file /binutils-2.24/binutils/size.c it does not
contain this fix and the link provided for a patch on the bug report
is broken. As this is the latest version what is the best way to
correct this issue? If the bug page had a source file instead of the
differences I would have just copied it in and rebuilt I'm assuming
that would have been ok.
