Commit: Fix building GAS for CRIS when checking is not enabled

Hi Guys,

  I am applying the small patch below to fix building GAS for the CRIS
  target when checking is not enabled.  The length_code variable was
  only ever used inside the know() macro, and without checking this
  macro does nothing.

	variable as unused as it is only used when ENABLE_CHECKING is on.
