Latest CVS export, makeinfo needed

Hello

I was trying to build CVS export of the binutils export while without
a net connection.

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope.

So I did the default ./configure and make

Got stuck where it requires "makeinfo". I didn't have access to the
net to install "texinfo" though. Log attached.

The output only says WARNING, could it be updated to not fail if
"makeinfo" is not available?

Please include my email address in any replies as I'm not on this list.
Cheers, Jon

WARNING: `makeinfo' is missing on your system. You should only need it if
you modified a `.texi' or `.texinfo' file, or any other file
indirectly affecting the aspect of the manual. The spurious
call might also be the consequence of using a buggy `make' (AIX,
DU, IRIX). You might want to install the `Texinfo' package or
the `GNU make' package. Grab either from any GNU archive site.
