Still getting (but only) these differences:
$ ./gas/as-new -o power7.o -mpower7 ./gas/testsuite/gas/ppc/power7.s
$ ./binutils/objdump -d -Many power7.o >d-any
$ ./binutils/objdump -d -Mpower7 power7.o >d-power7
$ diff -u d-any d-power7

Is -Mpower7 therefore still required or could be the current `d-any' variants
