reloc against local symbol

Hi there,

Good morning.

Please can anyone explain me "R_PPC_PLTREL24 reloc against local
symbol" what this error means.

I made some symbols local using gld in a ".o".  If I try to make a
shared object out of this ".o", then the linker throws this error :(
