Thanks, Eric, I am glad this looks acceptable to you.  Sounds like we'll just
need Thiemo's approval as well and then I can go ahead and update the patch.

I don't think that is a choice with the mainline toolchain since people will
built it themselves.  I just prefer that people have similar experiences using
the mainline and our toolchain.
