What is meant by "the ELF committee" and "the official specification" in 
this regard?  I see nothing recent at 
<http://groups.google.com/group/generic-abi> and the ABI at the SCO site 
hadn't been updated for years.

(Actually, if this is Linux-specific, is a Linux osABI what's meant?  Is 
LSB the place to look?)
