When you build binutils under uClibc, libbfd.so has undefined
references to functions from binutils's copy of libintl (which,
incidentally, is not installed).  Therefore it can not be loaded.

No, but I'll do that when I get back from vacation.

To the other person who asked, no, this does not effect --disable-nls.
