absolute objcopy not working on amd64?

PS: I have Dual distro on same HDD(500GB), default fedora's grub works
fine with me.
In this condition, i don't have to build new grub for /dev/sda4( was
reiser4 partition, now ext3, building diy-linux again )
But, when i have to port this distro to other hardware, it cause problem.
