Ping.  These patches to GCC and GAS

<http://sourceware.org/ml/binutils/2007-07/msg00113.html> are pending 
review.

(Presume that if applied now the GCC configure patch would be updated to 
reflect that the GAS changes would only be in 2.19 not 2.18.)
