I haven't been keeping up with the binutils ToT and I guess no one else
was testing on IA64 HP-UX.  Are you going to put in your configure patch
for stpcpy?

By the way, after making all these changes, I also applied your
elfxx-ia64.c patch and it built with no other problems.  I ran the gas
and binutils test suites and had no regressions from the version without
your patch.
