Have you tested it ?  If so which targets did you test ?  A patch like 
this really ought to be tested by building a toolchain configured with 
"--enable-targets=all --enable-64-bit-bfd" to make sure that it has not 
affected the building of any individual target.

Once you have tested this patch (and found no regressions) then please 
consider it approved.
