Question regarding target to host endianness conversion of gmon.out.

Hi,

Just a quickie with regards to the snippet below from the archives:

"Gprof is using the bfd routines to perform byte swapping based on
readin in data in the target's byte order and then processing them
 in the host's byte order."

Please could you tell me which bfd routines does gprof use to achieve
the automatic byte swapping to convert the gmon.out file if the target
(on which the gmon.out file was created) and host (on which gprof will
 run) have different endiannesses?

Thanks,
Anmol.
