Great - I have your patch on file, and once the copyright is sorted
out I will be happy to apply it.

Just one thing - whilst you are twiddling your thumbs, waiting for the
assignment to come though - you wouldn't like to develop a GAS
testsuite test for the mapping symbols - to make sure that the code
continues to work in the future.
