GNU Toolchain for Motorola ColdFire 5471

Hi All,

In an effort to build a toolchain for the new Coldfire 5471 processor, I 
have donwloaded, configured, and installed the following items: gcc 3.4.0 
(along with patches from ulinux website), binutils 2.15, newlib 1.8, gdb 
6.1.

When I try to use the -mcfv4e option with the tools, the option isn't 
recognized (even though it is listed in the help files).  Is there a patch 
that fixes this?  Has anyone tried to build images for the new 5471 
processor?  Thanks for your time.
