First, thank you DaveK on your reply to my last quick
question.

I have another question here, also with gdb:
I configured both binutils2.14 and gdb6.0 as ./configure
--target=powerpc-linux --program-prefix=ppc-

I took a sample program hello-ppc.s from
www-900.ibm.com/developerWorks/cn/linux/hardware/ppc/assembly/hello-ppc.s

First, assemble with $ppc-as -o hello-ppc.o hello-ppc.s
then, link it with $ppc-ld -o hello-ppc hello-ppc.o

Then, $ppc-gdb hello-ppc <return>
"The GDB was configured as "--host=i686-pc-linux-gnu
--target=powerpc-linux"
(gdb)run <return>
Don't know how to run. Try "help target"

Could anybody direct me the way where I can find an answer
for this? Again, thank you all!

Chen
