--unresolved-symbols patch breaks autoconf tests

I seem to have made a mistake copying the xgcc -v output (since I had
updated the in-tree specs file to add -z defs).  So no, neither collect2
nor ld give an error here, verified again with gcc -Wl,-debug and invoking
ld directly.
