Windres bug fixes...

Some time ago, some changes/bug fixes were made to Windres to make it 
closer to the Microsoft RC program. Have those changes been released in a 
"stable" form (i.e. other than via pulling from CVS)?
If so, where do I get them?
If not, is there some way to find out when they will become available? 
(e.g. some list of things still to be done before the new windres will be 
considered "good enough" for a release)
