Sorry about that.  I have applied your patch to the binutils sources.
I hope that the gdb and gcc maintainers will do the same for their
projects.

Note, in your ChangeLog entry you included:

> +   * config.sub: Add kaOS to the list of known OS.

But did not include a patch to config.sub.  I assume that this is
because you know that patches to config.sub need to be submitted
separately to config-patches@gnu.org
