h8300-elf-ld crashes when -mrelax switch used

Hi all!

I have successfully built the h8300-elf toolchain with binutils-2.13,
gcc-3.2 and newlib-1.10.0 sources. 

But the earlier error mentioned in the
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/binutils/2002-06/msg00155.html is again
observed when -mrelax option is used with the h8300-elf-gcc. 

The patch
http://sources.redhat.com/ml/binutils-cvs/2002-06/msg00058.html for the
above error is already present in the binutils-2.13 even then it is
giving the error. 

Please guide me on this.
