Do any empic tests explicitly need BFD64? If so, they need to be fixed
or disabled (the ones that are irrelevant for a plain 32-bit
configuration), regardless of the target, be it linux, irix, elf or
whatever.

Well, spending another hour each time to build and test for another
target looks entirely unexciting. It might be worse even for a native
build -- about 3 hours on my R3k system. :-( I certainly prefer all
applicable tests to be run in a single pass.
