That would be fine with me.

However, if people are going to go down this road, I'd like to say
that I think people making "mips-linux specific" changes should always
test mips-elf (or other generic mips embedded targets) as well, since
in the past the former have caused a lot of breakage in the latter.

(That's why i like having the empic tests there all the time.  ... if
you don't want them there and don't want the code, that's fine... but
you can't skip the testing.  8-)
