According to LAST_UPDATED, you ran this an hour before I committed some
patches to the branch - including one from Jakub which should fix that.

The 32-bit file is your built LD. The new assembler produces 64-bit
binaries just fine. Your compiler is producing ld in 32-bit, so of
course the bootstrap tests fail. If you're going to configure with
sparc64-linux as an argument, then you need your compiler set up to
build a 64-bit binary...
