[There's a missing bit of this message, so I'm guessing a little]

A .pdr reference?  As far as I can tell there isn't one; it was
constructed to convey information lost in the switch away from mdebug. 
I keep meaning to make GDB read them, but haven't found time yet. 
Discarding them is correct, or at least goes along with our existing
practice in the discarding of functions.
