Binutils SCO OpenServer 5.0.6

Hello binutils,

  I'm trying to compile MySQL on SCO OpenServer 5.0.6

  I downloaded all set of GNU tools from skunkware but it seems like
  bintools  published there have only "ar" program.

  I've also installed OpenServer development toolkit with it's own
  "as" "ld" etc. The problem is this  "as" does not work with gcc :(

  So my question is if I could get binary binutils for SCO somewhere
  or may be someone knows a way to use native "as" with GCC ?
