Oh woe! This all works ok when make is run in bfd/ and opcodes/, but the toplevel Makefile passes $libdir and $includedir down to subdirs. "override VAR = VALUE" isn't sufficiently portable, is it? I suppose that means hacking the toplevel Makefile. -- Alan Modra IBM OzLabs - Linux Technology Centre
