There isn't a planned timeline, but Alan sounded like he had some work
he wanted to start on after we branched so it's probably a good time.

Tentatively:
  Branch on Tuesday, July 9th
  Freeze on Tuesday, July 23rd
  Release on Tuesday, July 30th

How's that sound to our readership?  It'll be about 2.5 months after
2.12.1 and 4.5 months after 2.12, which I think is about right.
