I have reverted my patch now. Remember that you'll need to commit your
patch against the libiberty in gcc CVS, not the one in src CVS, once it's
approved (and it looks fine to me; thanks for saving me the work).
I've not reverted the little testcase I added; that should still be required
to work IMHO, until either RMS allows us to do runtime demangling, or
until typeid mangled strings match object-file mangled strings.
