TI C54x Assembler

Hi,
  I've been using the TI C54x assembler and it works well. I was just wanting
to tell the authors/users that I'm working on a simulator that can read the
generated executable file and simulate it.  http://gdspsim.sourceforge.net
It's not 100% done, but works for some opcodes. 

I was also wondering if anyone knows if anyone is planning on porting
gcc to be able to compile C54x code.
