Segmentation fault: stupid question...

I installed gcc version 2.95.3-5 for i686-pc-cygwin.
I compiled a trivial program:

...
int main( )
{

printf("Hello World\n");
return 0;
}

Trying to run the program I get a "Segmentation fault (core dumped)".
Something wrong with my installation?
