Dynamic Linking under Solaris 2.5.1.

I built binutils 2.11.2 using gcc 2.95.3 under Solaris 2.5.1.  Anything subsequently built in this environment that is dynamically linked SEGVs on execution.

Did I do something wrong, or is this a known problem?
