I just got this error from ld:
/usr/ia64-suse-linux/bin/ld: Dwarf Error: Line offset (0) bigger than line size (0).

the code in question comes from bfd/dwarf2.c:

  if (unit->line_offset >= stash->dwarf_line_size)
    {
      (*_bfd_error_handler) (_("Dwarf Error: Line offset (%u) bigger than line size (%u)."),
			     unit->line_offset, stash->dwarf_line_size);
      bfd_set_error (bfd_error_bad_value);
      return 0;
    }

Either the message or the comparsion is wrong.  Could somebody
enlighten me which is wrong?
