Hi~
ÃÂ
I have a problem in compiling binutils-2.10.1
a few day ago, I visited www.linuxfromscratch.org
and decided to make it from the scratch...
ÃÂ
now, I get lost in compiling binutils.
I compiledÃÂ binutils statically with gcc-2.95.2ÃÂ ,
glibc-2.2.1 successfully.
And, failed in dynamic compile(with gcc-2.95.2.1,
glibc-2.2.2)
ÃÂ
[[[ ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-shared && make
-e tooldir=/usrÃÂ ]]
ÃÂ
after the command I checked binutils-2.10.1/ld/ld-new with ldd
command.
and the message was "not a dnyamic executable".
I couldn't find the reason, even in the maillist.
ÃÂ
so now,ÃÂ I'm using static ld, gperf, etc.
and I get some strange waring when I compile other
packages.
like thisÃÂ ÃÂ ÃÂ ===>ÃÂ ÃÂ /usr/bin/ld:
warning: cannot find entry symbol _start; defaulting to 08048eb0
and the output would say "Illigal function"
ÃÂ
please tell me, what is problem and howÃÂ to fixup the
problem...
ÃÂ
ÃÂ
ps. I'm new to here... so, if I made a mistake in
postingÃÂ mail, forgive me. ;)
