Binutils 2.10.1 status on Solaris?

The GCC 2.95.2 installation documentation says:
   
  sparc-sun-solaris*
  
   binutils 2.9.1 has known bugs on this platform. We recommend to use
   the vendor tools (Sun as, Sun ld) until these have been fixed.

Is it known whether these bugs are fixed in 2.10.1?
