  Heh.  You do, of course, realise what will happen if an interrupt 
occurs between these two instructions ?  It might be best to do the
calculation in a temporary register...

   lea.l  .STARTOF.(stack),a0
   lea.l  .SIZEOF.(stack)(a0),sp
